Today’s Grandchild project was to make a snowman from a sock as mentioned in a previous blog. He is very simple, very quick to make and very cute! I had to buy a pair of white socks ( which actually came in a pack of three!) and some rice to stuff him with. This makes him very stable and easy to mould into a snowman shape. All the rest of the “ingredients” came from my sewing box, thread, pins, buttons, ribbon scraps, glitter glue. You can personalise him with whatever is to hand. I am sure that he will become a regular Christmas decoration but if anyone needs five spare socks……..
