Gorgeous Granddaughter and Gorgeous Granny!

Standard

This week I’m having time out with Gorgeous Granddaughter and it’s lovely. We spent time exploring the garrison town of Richmond North Yorkshire. I am “catching her young” regarding crafting and  treasure (vintage) hunting. We,well she, found some cute silver spoons and a butter knife! We enjoyed a hunt around a fantastic multi roomed antique shop called York House(Antiques) http://www.yorkhouseantiques.co.uk

We spent a while preparing strawberries, and then ate them! We also bought some blue and silver wool to practice our knitting (it had to have sparkle) and returned to her home to get the campervan ready for tomorrow.

A lovely day was enjoyed despite rain and awful British Summer weather.image

Over at TIME.com/90years, you’ll find a gallery of 90 covers that encapsulate world history so far, as well as a historical breakdown of which celebrities and showbiz stars graced the cover through the decades and a hilarious poll that allows visitors to vote for the cheesiest TIME cover ever conceived…
